| BARRY BENNETT ('91) has had his theatre and dance scores heard as far away as Salzburg and maybe as near as the seat in which you are sitting. This group of folks would include Chicago Dramatists, The Aardvark, Steppenwolf, The Art Institute, Emerald City, National Pastime, PROP THTR, Chicago Moving Company, Estrogen Fest, Writer’s Theatre, Asimina Chremos, NEXT Dance, Heartz & Bonies, Flush Puppy, Blackbird, Terrapin Theatre, and others . By day he is a modern dance accompanist and he has been Composer in Residence for the Chicago Moving Company for the past 7 years; for whom he has created music for numerous out reach programs. He is the founder of the art rock ensemble, MiLkBabY, (www.milkbaby.net), which recently released it‘s 5th album, BottLe, on Uvulittle Records (www.uvulittle.com ). He is married to director, Ann Filmer, and they have a pretty neato daughter named Hannah Doris. Barry believes that despite appearances, YOU CAN CHANGE THE WORLD. | |

2007 graduate of Missouri State, Shannon now resides in Chicago. After
graduation and a 3rd season of Tent Theatre, Shannon went on tour with
the American Family Theatre company on a 3 month, 44 city tour of The Little Mermaid
where she played the Sea Witch. In Chicago, Shannon has most recently played the Gypsy in Circle Theatre's production of The Who's, Tommy which was Jeff Award Recommended. She also played Anita in West Side Story at Timber Lake Playhouse featuring the Original Broadway Choreography. Shannon has also done extra work on The Beast, with the late Patrick Swayze, and worked on the films, The Unborn with Gary Oldman and Baby on Board with Heather Graham and Jerry O'Connell. |

leaving The Bronze Bear, Joel followed a girl to Chicago. He, along
with a slew of other SOUTHWEST Missouri State alums, co-founded Open Cage Ensemble.
With the Cage, Joel appeared as Nancy in Tim Reardon's US: a tragedy, Boy's Life, Picasso at the Lapin Agile,
Phyro-Giants!,
directed Neil LaBute's bash,
and appeared in the Midwest Premiere of How To Act Around Cops.
Joel currently serves as Managing Director for LiveWire Chicago Theatre.
With LiveWire he appeared in both of their Joseph Jefferson Award
Recommended productions of Red
Angel and Wonder

Fagan is a theater administrator and practitioner dedicated to
providing opportunities for diverse artists and communities to grow and
learn together through theatre. After spending the past year with
Seattle Repertory Theatre as the Arts Management Intern, Melissa will
soon be relocating to Chicago to pursue her MFA in Arts Leadership at
DePaul
University while working at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Melissa holds
a BFA in Acting (2011) from Missouri State University in Springfield,
MO. Melissa worked with the Springfield Regional Arts Council for most
of her undergraduate career, cultivating interests in grantwriting and
arts advocacy. Other interests include organizational design,
direction, and planning; board development; and the relationship
between theater and community. |

| Shortly after graduating from SMS and moving to Chicago, John Hall was cast in Chicago's own Child's Play Touring Theater Company. He toured the east coast and Chicago region for five months with CP, before moving on to a long-standing relationship with Emerald City Children's Theatre. John was featured in several of their shows, including the title role in their production of Frosty. John is currently working with the Barrel of Monkeys children's theatre, as well as appearing on an on-going basis in the Chicago production of Tony N' Tina's Wedding. | |

| Trista Smith moved to the best city in the U.S. of A. shortly after graduation, and into the apartment of Jason Grimm where she realized her true calling: raunch. Smith and Grimm have performed their two-person show in several cabaret venues around Chicago, and most recently at the illustrious Lakeshore Theatre in the two-act vaudeville Give Our Retards to Broadway (Balls-Out Productions). When she's not collaborating with her favorite partner-in-crime, she has been seen in several productions of her theatre company, Hell In A Handbag Productions. Favorite roles with Handbag include Trixie in Caged Dames, Miss Collins in sCarrie! The Musical, and Ethel Merman in Judy's Scary Little Christmas. | After leaving Springfield, Missouri, Jennifer returned to her native Chicagoland and currently lives in the northside Edgewater neighborhood with her husband, Jesse, and their kitty, Soleil-Moon-Unit-Zappatista. She continues to perform as an actor, dancer, musician and singer in Chicago. She has played on the stages of Steel Beam Theatre, No Center Aisle Theater Co., Borealis Theatre Co. and NightBlue Theater Performing Arts Company, where she is in the Repertory Ensemble as well as serving as a Program Assistant. She has been seen on the stage most recently at the Athenaeum Theater in Chicago in productions of Miss Saigon ("Ellen") and Kiss Me Kate ("Man 2"). She was also a featured actor and dancer in the premiere of Trisha Cole's Butterfly at the Bailiwick Director's Festival in June 2007. | |
