Greg Roderick and Antuan Raimone performed in Broadway Backwards 7, the annual benefit concert for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids at the Al Hirschfeld Theater on March 5th. |

Idiot) received The Broadway Gypsy Robe from fellow (S)MSU alumni Dale
Hensley
(currently
in the Broadway production of La Cage Aux Folles) in the
traditional Gypsy Robe hand-off on the opening night of American Idiot.
The robe is presented to the "gypsy" in the opening cast who
has performed the most Broadway musicals on a chorus contract. Along
the way, the robe is decorated, painted, patched, stitched, and signed
by everyone in the show, becoming a fanciful patchwork for an entire
Broadway season. Dale was the Broadway chorus veteran with the
most shows in 'La Cage' and passed it on to Andrew, who is the Broadway
chorus veteran in 'American Idiot'. Brett Kristofferson was nominated for a cabaret MAC Award for his song: "Things That Haunt Me" Joel Ewing will be seen in War With the Newts at The Next Theater in Chicago from May 21-June 20, 2010.
